This weekend sees Formula One and MotoGP (including Moto2 and Moto3) all in action.
Formula One has headed to India where Sebastian Vettel is expected to clinch his fourth consecutive Driver’s Title. He currently leads Fernando Alonso, who is second in the championship, by 90 points, with four rounds left to be contested (including India).
MotoGP and its feeder categories have headed to Japan where Marc Marquez lies 18 points ahead of Jorge Lorenzo who is second in the Rider’s Championship, and 34 points ahead of team-mate and third placed rider, Dani Pedrosa. All three are in contention for the Rider’s Title with two rounds remaining of the season (Japan and Valencia).
As mentioned in an earlier post, Scott Redding returns to action in Moto2 after sustaining a wrist injury during the Australian Grand Prix weekend, he currently lies 16 points behind Pol Espargaro in the championship.
Lastly is Moto3 where Luis Salom, Alex Rins and Maverick Vinales are all in contention for the title with only 5 points separating Luis Salom and Alex Rins with Marverick Vinales a further 17 points behind,
