This weekend sees the beginning of the 2015 MotoGP season where Marc Marquez will defend his title.
His main challenger during 2014 was Valentino Rossi who will be hoping to present more of a challenge to Marquez.
Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa will be aiming to join Rossi and Marquez in challenging for the title after both had difficult seasons in 2014.
It is most likely that the two factory Honda’s and Yamaha’s will dominate the top four places during the season which will make it interesting to see whether and how often the likes of Ducati, LCR Honda and Tech 3 are able to finish in the top four.
2015 will also see Aprilia, Suzuki and Marc VDS join the MotoGP grid. They are unlikely to challenge the top four, but it will be interesting nevertheless to see where they initially fit in the pack and how much progress up the grid they are able to make throughout the season.
It should be an interesting year in MotoGP, up and down the grid, roll on Qatar.
