MotoGP and its feeder series return from there summer break, heading to the United States for the Indianapolis Grand Prix.
Moto3
The current championship standings in Moto3 see Danny Kent leading, 66 points ahead of second, Enea Bastianini. Both were on the podium last round in Germany, with Kent winning and Bastianini finishing third.
There are nine rounds left in the championship, which includes Indianapolis. Will Kent continue his early season form? Or will Bastianini be able to close the gap in the remaining nine races?
Moto2
Johann Zarco leads the championship, 65 points ahead of Tito Rabat, who is second. The same questions could be asked about the Moto2 championship as I have asked about Moto3. Will Zarco continue his form and extend his championship lead? Will Rabat close the gap in the remaining nine races?
MotoGP
Valentino Rossi leads the championship, 13 points ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo. With nine races to go will the championship be fought out between the two Yamaha riders or will Marquez join the title fight having achieved a win and a second place before the summer break.
There will be a few rider changes going into the weekend with Toni Ellias replacing Karel Abraham and Stefan Bradl switching to Aprilia Gresini after leaving Forward Racing who will not compete at Indianapolis after their owner was arrested.
