It’s the final target of the new season resolutions feature, and today is about Haas driver, Esteban Gutierrez.
Seldom do drivers get a second chance at a Formula One career, however, Mexican driver Esteban Gutierrez finds himself in exactly that position having made his initial debut with Sauber in 2013.
However in two seasons with the Swiss team he only managed one points finish, a seventh at the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix. After 2014 he was dropped and went to Ferrari as a reserve driver.

Although some may see his Haas drive as the team attempting to get support from Mexico and to keep Ferrari happy, Gutierrez is a talented driver, having won the GP3 title in 2010, an achievement that Daniil Kvyat and Valtteri Bottas have achieved.
Gutierrez is also a race winner in GP2 having claimed four victories in the series over two seasons.
Therefore, Gutierrez’s new season resolution is to make the most of this second opportunity in Formula One, and show the motorsport community that he deserves to be and belongs in Formula One.
