There are teams that are having a resurgence, others struggling in their first season back as a factory outfit and then there are some that have shown great potential in their first season back in the sport. Today’s post is all about Suzuki.

The Japanese manufacturer left the sport at the end of 2011 but returned last season with a two bike effort, fielding Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales. Although the team did not secure a podium finish, they did amass two hundred and two points as well as claiming a one-two in qualifying for the Catalan Grand Prix.
With both Espargaro and Vinales being retained for 2016, Suzuki are worth watching as they, like all other teams, aim to improve their bike and become front runners. Do more front row starts await in 2016? Will Suzuki claim a podium in 2016? Keep an eye on them.
