Moto2 will be in action at Assen for the eighth round of the season, alongside Moto3 and MotoGP.
Alex Marquez is on a good run of form having won the last three Grand Prix which has helped him take a seven point lead in the championship.
Another Spanish rider in form is Jorge Navarro who has finished on the podium in four of the last five races, the latest of those podium finishes coming at the last race in Catalunya where he finished third.
Also on a strong run of form is Moto2 rookie, Enea Bastianini who has finished outside the top ten only once so far this season (at Jerez) and recorded his highest finish in the class in the previous round.

Been there, done that
The last four Moto2 Assen race winners are all currently competing in MotoGP:
The 2018 edition saw Francesco Bagnaia win ahead of Frenchman, Fabio Quartararo (both now in MotoGP) while Alex Marquez completed the podium, finishing third.
