Moto3 is in action this weekend at Assen along with Moto2 and MotoGP.
Spaniard, Aron Canet, currently leads the championship by twenty three points from Italian, Lorenzo Dalla Porta.

Canet, along with Italian Celestino Vietti, are the only two riders to have scored points in all races contested so far in 2019.
Also starting to build up a good run of form is Italian Dennis Foggia, who has finished fifth in the last two rounds in Italy and Catalunya.
In need of a result

Dalla Porta will also be another hoping for a strong weekend to enable him to cut into Canet’s lead in the championship. Prior to his retirement in Catalunya, Dalla Porta had managed to achieve consecutive second place finishes in France and then in Italy.
Been there, done that
Of the current Moto3 grid, only Aron Canet has won at Assen in Moto3 having claimed victory in the 2017 edition. He was joined on the podium by Romano Fenati and John McPhee, who are both racing in Moto3 in 2019.
The 2018 edition saw Spaniard, Jorge Martin, win ahead of Canet and Enea Bastianini.
