The MotoGP Dutch TT was won by Maverick Vinales, ahead of fellow Spaniard, Marc Marquez while the final podium place was taken by Frenchman, Fabio Quartararo.
A good weekend for…
It was a good weekend for Vinales who claimed his first victory of the 2019 season and his second podium finish, the other being third place in Spain.
Although it could have been better for Quartararo, it was also a solid weekend for him as he claimed pole position and then managed to finish third, which followed on from his second place finish in the previous round in Catalunya.
It was another strong weekend for Marc Marquez, who finished second and extended his lead in the championship over closest title rival, Andrea Dovizioso.
Lastly, it was a positive weekend for Francesco Bagnaia who ended a run of four consecutive retirements by finishing in the points in fourteenth in Assen.
A bad weekend for…
