Formula returns to action this weekend as it heads to Hungary along with Formula 2 and Formula 1.
The top four
The series enters the weekend with Russian, Robert Shwartzman leading the championship, twelve points ahead of his teammate Jehan Daruvala. Ten points behind Daruvala is Red Bull backed, Juri Vips.
Embed from Getty ImagesThere is then a fifteen point gap between Vips in third and the final Prema Racing driver of Marcus Armstrong in fourth before there is then a further thirty four points between Armstrong and the next driver in the standings.
Shwartzman has been impressive having finished in the top five at every race so far this season.
Behind the top four
The top four have certainly managed to cut away from the rest of the grid with Pedro Piquet leading the remaining twenty six drivers with twenty four points separating Piquet in fifth and David Beckmann in eleventh.
Embed from Getty ImagesA driver on a recent run of good results is Italian, Leonardo Pulcini who currently lies eighth in the standings and has the second longest active point scoring run in the series.
Race winners
There have been five different drivers to have won races so far this season. The last six races have seen five different drivers win a race with Marcus Armstrong, who forms part of the top four in the standings, yet to win a race this season.
