The rookie in the best form ahead of this weekend is Jorge Martin who has finished in the points in the last four rounds, his highest finish of the season coming at the Austrian Grand Prix, a seventh place finish. All of which leaves him in nineteenth in the standings heading to Misano.

Elsewhere

There are other groups further down the standings to look out for, this includes a battle for thirteenth between Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge, with one point separating the two and Lecuona in better form, having finished in the points in the last three races.

You could also include Andrea Locatelli as part of the group, he is on the longest point scoring run outside of the top ten having finished inside the points in the last six races, currently placing him fifteenth in the standings, six points off Vierge and one ahead of Sam Lowes, who is in sixteenth.
