This weekend sees IndyCar return to action at Mid-Ohio for the latest double header of 2020 for the tenth and eleventh rounds of the season.
Scott Dixon leads the championship 96 points ahead of nearest challenger Josef Newgarden. Both drivers won last time out at the Bommarito 500 double header as Dixon claimed his fourth win of the season while Newgarden took his second.
Pato O’Ward goes into the weekend third in the championship 23 points behind Newgarden as well as 23 points ahead of fourth placed Takuma Sato. O’Ward claimed two podium finishes across the Bommarito 500 double header as he continues to seek that maiden win in IndyCar.

Rinus Veekay is the highest placed rookie in thirteenth ahead of the weekend having claimed his highest finish of fourth last time out. The Dutchman is three points behind Marcus Ericsson in twelfth and level on points with Jack Harvey. Veekey has a 21 point advantage over the next best rookie of Alex Palou who is sixteenth in the championship.
Last season’s race at Mid-Ohio was won by Scott Dixon ahead of Felix Rosenqvist and Ryan Hunter-Reay. Rosenqvist will start the weekend tenth in the championship while Hunter-Reay is immediately behind the Swede in eleventh, 14 points separating the two.
